1) If a large corporation were to go out of business, then yes I think that the government should help them. Because if this was to happen many people would be loosing their jobs and that would cause a lot of unemployment which the government would end up paying for anyways! So why not give the company some money to help get their company back on their toes so that they will be saving many employers jobs and maybe be saving the government more money in the end. And hope for the best that they learn their lessons and don't put their country in that kind of overwhelming stress again.
2) i have no idea....
3)We are in a terrible debt crisis right now, and honestly taking any direction is this is overall not going to be soo good. We are in the times where items and unnecessary things that we don't actually need, are things we think we need. Our government is spending very huge chunks of money on things that we don't really need. And our country has become addicted to the excessive spending habit And now we have gone too far with it. What do we do know? Well, we either cut back spending dramatically which could conclude to loss of jobs and higher raised prices for individual items, or we just don't do anything at all about and we end up doubling, or tripling our current debt over the next few years, making it nearly impossible to reach a more understandable debt number. No matter how bad that sounds its true. We got out of hand with the spending during the bush era, and normally we find a way to get it down. For example, usually if we met a huge debt crisis it was because of world war one or world war two or the great depression, the civil war. But we have not encountered a huge event like that and the current debt we have now is far worse then we have ever had before. What we do now, I do not know. But hopefully we make some changes soon or the generations to come, even mine, are going to face some difficult times in our adulthood.
